The MLS Medallion Club is awarded annually, to the top 10% of realtors with the most residential sales the previous year.
The top 10%, are chosen from all realtors that sold at least one piece of property, the previous year. There are approximately 14,000 realtors licensed by the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver. Approximately 10,000 Realtors sold at least one property last year, so this means that approximately 1 out of every 14 realtors ( or 7% of 14,000 licensees) are members of the Medallion Club.
To become a Lifetime member of the Medallion Club, (The Realtor’s Hall of Fame) a member must qualify for the Medallion Club at least 20 times. The leader of the Home Advantage Team (Jamie Hooper) has qualified for this prestigious award 23 times! There are only about 75 other realtors who have done it longer.
